Upcoming Conventions

It's been a looooong time since we last updated. Thank you for your patience! We have been hard at work fulfilling orders and custom requests these past few months, and we appreciate all the support!

A few conventions are coming up this year that we will be attending, which we have updated our Conventions page and also listed below:

Anime Boston: May 24-26; Anime Expo: July 4-7; AM2: August 23-25.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Decalzilla banner! We're excited to see you there!

New Mini Decals

December 12th, 2012

As promised, we've got new decals ready to go! They can all be found in the Miniature Decals section. (Apologies for the glaring watermarks. They're a necessary evil for combating those who like to take our designs and sell them on their own websites.)

December 4th (already??), 2012

It's been a busy few months, and we apologize for the lack of updates here. We are still taking care of website orders and custom orders, though! There's a big batch of decals we're getting ready to put up on the website very soon, so keep an eye open!

To those planning on stuffing stockings with some decals, be sure to place your orders by December 18th for a guaranteed arrival before Christmas!

 

 

To Kumoricon!

It's been a good week-long break from San Japan. We got a chance to replenish our stock, break out a few new designs, and improve upon some old ones! Ready and excited to go back to Kumoricon, up in Vancouver, Washington. You'll be able to find us in the Artist Alley located in Centennial Center attached to the Red Lion. Hope to see you there!

Alamo, We Shall Remember You

August 15th, 2012

We are back from San Japan in San Antonio, Texas and already getting ready for Kumoricon in Vancouver, Washington (September 1-3)

Texas was beautiful, (though hot and humid, as expected!) We were happy to finally visit the Alamo, learn about its history, and purchase candy from its vending machines, just like the early Texans did so many years ago. We will definitely try to come back next year!

Lastly, the Custom Decal Order page is back up again! So feel free to send us your ideas for custom-made decals, and we will be happy to oblige. Some new additions to the decal roster are also being cooked up. We hope to have them ready by the time we head out to Washington, so keep checking in!

 

To the Texas San Japan Expo!

August 8th, 2012

The wedding is over, and the "honeymoon" begins as Decalzilla heads to San Antonio, Texas tomorrow for the San Japan Anime Expo from the 10th to the 12th. We will be seated at AA Booth 13 and when not there we will be stuffing our faces with some of that sweet, sweet Texas BBQ!

 

Good News and Bad News!

August 1st, 2012

First, the good news: Courtney and I are getting married in 3 short days! As the shackles of wedlock clamp ever tighter on Jon's wrists, so does pile of things on the to-do list for the ceremony continue to grow. Unfortunately, this means we are going to have to put a temporary hold on custom orders for now. We have taken down the page for custom orders on our site. However, you can still email us with custom orders if you wish, we just won't be able to get to them until about a week after the ceremony (August 4th). The ability to send custom orders through our website will be back by the 15th.

AX 2012 Complete

July 5th, 2012

'Amazed' doesn't even begin to summarize how we felt at this year's Los Angeles Anime Expo. You all really blew us away with the support you showed us at our table this year. It was great seeing so many familiar faces from previous conventions. That was the first time we've ever applied decals to shoes, and the body of a guitar! (Really had to MacGyver that one to successfully get it underneath the strings!)

Now that things are settling a little, the updates to our decal roster will continue! Today, we're going to start off with the legendary blue London Police Box: the Tardis, from the Doctor Who series. We've also got a miniature version for those looking for an even more portable Tardis Decal.

Thank you to all the amazing artists and convention-goers that we had the privilege of meeting at this year's AX! Needless to say, we've already signed up for next year's AX, so be sure to look for us in 2013!

 

No Time for the Dust to Settle!

AM2 was a great experience, and we really had a good time meeting everyone who came by our table, and even seeing some familiar faces from other conventions! It sounds like we'll be seeing a lot of you at the Los Angeles AX this year too! Which...is in less than a week. Phew!

We have been in a mad dash to get our inventory of decals up to par for one of the biggest Anime conventions in the US. Work has been non-stop since AM2 (aside from taking a break to watch the absolutely mind-blowing season finale of The Legend of Korra, of course!) to make sure we fulfill all your decal needs at AX!

Speaking of AX, you'll be able to find us in the Artist Alley in booth F26. We'll be there from the beginning of day 1 to the end of day 4. In the mean time, here's a new decal! Derpy has been on our list of decals to make for a while, and the many requests we got for her put her at the top of our list:
